The Creative Group
Where science meets art. A collective of researchers, visionaries, and digital storytellers breaking the traditional barriers of scientific communication.
Net4Brain · WG6 Dissemination
Redefining how brain research is shared
Science doesn't just live in laboratories or peer-reviewed journals; it breathes through the stories we tell, the connections we spark, and the communities we build.
As the Creative Group within Net4Brain's Working Group 6 (Dissemination), we are a collective of researchers, visionaries, and digital storytellers from across Europe and beyond. Our mission is to break the traditional barriers of scientific communication. Our goal is not only to disseminate results, but to create a recognizable communication identity for Net4Brain: clear, inclusive, creative, and scientifically sound. We are redefining how brain research is shared, visualized, and experienced — turning complex data into engaging, accessible, and impactful content for scientists, clinicians, and the public alike.
What we do
We develop creative dissemination formats to make Net4Brain's research activities and scientific outputs more visible, understandable, and engaging. Our activities include visual abstracts, interviews, short videos, webinars, social media campaigns, storytelling formats, and digital content designed to connect scientific excellence with different audiences.
From producing dynamic webinars to crafting immersive digital narratives, we blend cutting-edge neuroscience with creative strategy to amplify the voice of Net4Brain.
Meet the Creative Group

Our Pillars of Action
Active Engagement
Designing spaces where science meets dialogue, participation, and community building.
Creative Content
Crafting multimedia narratives, podcast concepts, visual science, and accessible communication tools.
Global Amplification
Ensuring Net4Brain's activities, achievements, and scientific messages reach the right audiences at the right time.
Why it matters
Brain research is complex, multidisciplinary, and rapidly evolving. Communicating it effectively means building trust, encouraging dialogue, and helping scientific knowledge travel beyond academic boundaries. Through creativity, we aim to bring research closer to people — not only academics — without losing scientific rigor.
How we work
We combine scientific expertise, creative thinking, and collaborative planning to design communication formats that are accurate, inclusive, and engaging. Each activity is developed through dialogue within the group and in close connection with the broader Net4Brain community.
Our audience
We create content for multiple audiences: researchers, clinicians, early-career scientists, students, patients, stakeholders, and the wider public. Our aim is to adapt the language without diluting the science.
What's coming next
In the coming months, the Creative Group will develop new interactive initiatives to showcase Net4Brain's activities and strengthen dialogue across the network and beyond.

Photo Challenge
A social media initiative that makes research more visible through the eyes of our network members. Researchers share lab photos, microscopy images, experimental setups, and spontaneous moments of scientific discovery. The most original entries are shortlisted by the WG6 Creative Group and shared with the wider community.

Tea Time with Net4Brain
An informal interview series bringing the human side of neuro-oncology into focus. Through relaxed conversations with researchers, the format shares personal stories, mentorship insights, research challenges, and career advice — inspiring early-career researchers and making brain cancer research more relatable.
