Net4Brain Training School on Mathematical Oncology
Report
An intensive PhD-level course on mathematical and computational biology of brain tumours. The programme combines morning technical lectures with supervised afternoon mini-projects and final student presentations. Trainees will work in small teams on modelling or data-analysis tasks using synthetic, public or permissioned datasets, with emphasis on reproducible workflows, model calibration, uncertainty and translational relevance. Only 20 trainees will be selected.

Training School on spatial transcriptomics technologies and their applications

The workshop is a three-day course that includes hands-on wet-lab work using mouse brain sections, imaging sessions, and primary data analysis for ISS. The course offers multidisciplinary activities, including lectures, wet-lab work, and imaging sessions. Lectures cover other spatial transcriptomics technologies and examples of their applications. Up to 24 participants.

Training School on Brain Cancer Study and Data Integration in Prague

The Training Scool on Brain Cancer and Data Intergation was held from April 24 to April 26 2024 in the premises of the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. The event was organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pavla Bojarova of the Laboratory of Biotransformation, Institute of Microbiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. The rich program, reflecting the work packages and the main topics of the Action, was composed of 8 invited lectures, 7 keynote lectures, 20 oral presentations and 8 posters. Besides the scientific program, there were abundant opportunities for networking for the 43 participants.
