Working Group Leadership

Six working-group leaders and their co-leaders drive the scientific programme of COST Action CA22103 — from biomarker discovery to dissemination — while the Young Researchers Group (YRG) leadership champions early-career researchers across Europe.

Working Groups

Leaders & Co-Leaders, by Group

Each of the six working groups is run by a leader and supported by a co-leader. Together they coordinate objectives, tasks and members for that strand of the Action.

YRG Leadership

The YRG is the home of early-career researchers in Net4Brain. Its leader mentors the next generation of brain cancer scientists and connects them to the Action's working groups.

Prof Annalisa Occhipinti, YRG Leader

Prof Annalisa Occhipinti

YRG Leader

Annalisa has recently received several awards for her contributions in the field of AI, big data, and cancer research, including an award from the Italian Embassy and the University of Cambridge. She is currently leading various research projects funded by BBSRC and EPSRC, developing AI models for healthcare applications and bioprocessing optimisation in collaboration with industrial partners.
